Art or junk?

This spring collection explores the idea of art as junk and, conversely, junk as art. Inspired by Tyree Guyton's Heidelberg Project, an open-air found object art installation on Detroit's East Side, the collection seeks to represent the beauty of the discarded through surface design and construction details, paralleling Guyton's work of bringing renewal to a disenfranchised neighborhood while preserving its legacy.
