Modeled by Rachel’s family at her childhood home in New Jersey, the Rachel Antonoff Fall 2021 collection is a nostalgic ode to 90s Carpool Fashion. ‘Carpool Fashion’ is really cut from the same cloth as pandemic fashion; it exists from the waist up. It favors garments comfortable for sitting, and often requires a rushed add-on of a ‘funky’ earring or conversation print blouse. With its printed velour & french terry track suits, easy over-the-head printed dresses and witty intarsia knits, Fall 21 boldly states, “get out of the car and show that vice principal your full look, you comfy little minx.”
