ZEBRA PRINT

This zebra print was recreated from an existing archive fabric by digitizing, creating a repeat, and recoloring in two colorways for Rachel Antonoff's Fall 2017 collection. The artwork was printed on a viscose satin and used to create sample garments as well as garments for production.

rachel antonoff fall 2017 collection

This artwork was utilized as a part of Rachel Antonoff's Fall 2017 collection inspired both literally and figuratively by trash. Traditionally associated with "trashy women" like Fran Drescher and Peg Bundy, animal prints such as this zebra print were a main feature of the collection which celebrated these women despite societal stereotypes.
